Starting the Evaluation

Once the last speech is over, any adjudicator can start the Evaluation stage by clicking the arrow at the bottom of the screen. All participants are automatically moved into the Evaluation Room, where adjudicators review the debate and provide feedback.

A banner counts down in the Debate Room first — The last speech is over — entering the Evaluation room in ~5s — and the speech timer is frozen while it runs. See The Debate Process.

When an AI adjudicator chairs, it starts the Evaluation stage itself after the last speech; there is no arrow to press.
