Evaluation

Once the speeches conclude, the debate moves to the Evaluation stage. Adjudicators fill in the Ballot — the chair enters one score per debater, and every adjudicator writes their own feedback. The room is also where any in-person feedback or discussion between adjudicators and debaters happens.

Adjudicators can move to a separate Adjudicator Room for a private discussion while the participants wait in the Evaluation Room, and switch back and forth as needed.

In debates with an AI adjudicator, the transcript is also evaluated automatically after the debate ends. Those results — the winner, the scores, and the per-criterion ratings — arrive a little later, and everyone who took part is notified.
