A maximum of twelve people can participate in a debate (members of the four teams, plus four judges). The Lobby displays placeholders for badges for all twelve participants, regardless of how many have joined. When someone enters, their badge shows their name and role. If there’s no name at the top of a badge, it means that position is currently unassigned. For more details, see the User Interface section.

As the Organizer, you can assign or change roles only while participants are in the Lobby. Role assignments are retained even if a participant leaves the debate (e.g., due to a network issue or temporarily navigating away). When they rejoin the session, they will retain their role assignment.
